About the event
Equinox comes from the Latin words “aequi,” which means equal, and “nox,” or night. On the equinox, day and night are of nearly equal length across the planet.
The full moon that falls closest to the autumnal equinox is sometimes called the Harvest Moon. Traditionally, this is a time of harvest and celebrating the abundant gifts from the earth.
Many people enjoy feasts during harvest time, and we’ll be feasting on one of earth’s greatest treasures - tea!
We’ll also be taking stock of our internal harvest with a seasonal Yoga Nidra meditation held in the award-winning & healing salt cave.
